My fee is $150 per session, however, in these harsh economic times, I have incorporated a sliding scale as well, which is based on your income and ability to pay. We can discuss fee modifications especially for non “prime time” hours, from 11- 4, when I have openings.

Fees are collected at each visit, preferably at the beginning of the session, so that we would not need to use session time to write checks, etc.

Insurance
If you want to use your insurance to pay for therapy, you will still need to pay me for each session. I will provide you with an invoice for your insurance company every month, and you will have to submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Cancellations
I have a 24 hours cancellation policy. With the exception of true medical emergency or a natural disaster, the client is responsible for the fee. The appointment time was reserved especially for you.

Confidentiality
In general, the law protects the confidentiality of all communications between a client and a psychotherapist. Information is not disclosed without written permission. However, there are number of exceptions to this rule.

Exceptions include:
- Suspected child abuse or dependant adult or elder abuse. The therapist is required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

- If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s. The therapist must notify the police and inform the intended victim.

- If a client intends to harm himself or herself. The therapist will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in insuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, further measures may be taken without their permission in order to ensure their safety.
